  My family and I said goodbye to our Uncle Louis here Sunday and Monday. A non family member was being confrontational with my grandmother (the sister of the deceased). Without discussing the confrontation with anyone, the funeral director told my grandmother she would be asked to leave if she caused further disruption. My husband asked the funeral director how he could say that to her when he hadn't witnessed the confrontation and my grandmother was grieving her brother. The director was very rude to my husband and family and even said that "if Jesus Christ himself walks in and I want him to leave then I can do that because this is my funeral home". I was very taken back by his actions and hurtful words towards my family in our time of loss. Nothing rude was spoken to those who began the confrontation. Those people are not even in our family, they were simply close friends. I feel bad that my grandmother had to go through. I truly hope that the director was just having a bad day and doesn't conduct his business like this on a daily basis.

  On Christmas 2016 my brother lost his daughter and grandson in an accident as well as an abuser (drug, domestic, ect... the list goes on). We were told by the Sumner Co. Coroner and the Davidson Co. Coroner that the accident was so bad (well........) Thanks to Mr. Gilbert and his family and his GOD given talent, We had the service the two victims were presentable to view for family members.
  Mr. Gilbert expenses were not exspensive compared to other funeral homes in the area. The only problems I had was that the mother/grandmother of the two victims was allowed to let one of her drug dealers in to view at the family only time. And Mr. Gilbert allowed the mother/grandmother make decisions when she clearly stated she wasn't going to pay for any of this. (Service) Overall
  Mr. Gilbert did a great job with the preparation of our family members.

  A couple weeks ago, my grandmother passed. We chose to use Gilbert funeral home, what a great choice we made. Mr. Gilbert was very helpful. He really took care of everything and was so kind to the family during this loss. We are so thankful to be taken care of so well in this time of grief. Thanks for everything.
